A bear was removed from a tree near Louisiana & Pennsylvania in Denver on Sunday morning.
According to Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW), officers tranquilized the bear and caught it coming out of the tree (with help from the Denver Police Department). Although the bear didn’t have the “smoothest landing,” CPW said that the animal is OK.
The male bear was about 1.5 years old and 100 pounds. CPW said in an update later on Sunday that the bear was transported to better bear habitat and released back into the wild…
