WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — With the Freedom 250 Grand Prix race weekend complete, crews are now breaking down and cleaning up the racecourse.
“The event organizers, immediately after the race ended, began the process of cleaning up the streets, cleaning up the race structure,” said Clint Osborn, director of the DC Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management. “You can see the fencing that’s still up both on the pedestrian side and race protection side.”
