CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police chief says she’s already seeing a reduction in teen takeovers because of recent talks about changing the city’s juvenile curfew.
Chief Estella Patterson is asking city council to implement a citywide 9 p.m. curfew for those 17 and younger. She gave an update to council Monday night.
Council members are now considering a curfew pilot program, as opposed to just outright changing the curfew time. That way, there would be time to gather data on whether a curfew would work…
