CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — SC Works Trident plans to host four career fairs across the Lowcountry in September, connecting job seekers with public- and private-sector employers as part of Workforce Development Month.
The events are being held in partnership with economic development departments in Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester counties. Registration is not required.
The schedule includes:
- Berkeley County Workforce Career Fair: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, at the Berkeley County Administration Building, 1003 Highway 52 in Moncks Corner.
- Charleston County Workforce Career Fair: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, at ECPI University, 3800 Paramount Drive in North Charleston.
- Dorchester County Workforce Career Fair: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, at the Rollins Edwards Community Center, 301 N. Hickory St. in Summerville.
- Public Service Career Fair: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, at the Charleston Area Convention Center, 5001 Coliseum Drive in North Charleston.
- Organizers encourage attendees to bring updated resumes, prepare for possible on-site interviews and be ready to apply for jobs during the events.
