COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A Columbus man was found not guilty of murder and other charges related to a fatal 2024 shooting over auto parts.
Austin Tyler Hagemann, 26, of Westerville, was acquitted via bench trial on all charges late last week, including murder, felonious assault, and firearm-related charges. Court documents state Hagemann was acquitted on the grounds of self-defense.
According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, on Dec. 19, 2024, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Madison Township police responded to a call for a shooting on the 3000 block of Noe Bixby Road.
