Drink beer, help animals (and their humans) in need. On Wed., Aug. 26, from 6-8 p.m., Pints for Pets will host a special fundraiser in partnership with the Southern Tier Brewing Pittsburgh location. Proceeds benefit Second Avenue Commons, described as the region’s only pet-friendly shelter, where individuals experiencing homelessness do not have to abandon or surrender their furry companions to receive care. The event includes craft beer and appetizers, and activities like a silent auction and “Stuff the Kennel” drive for supplies like leashes, dog toys, bedding, and more.
