The Navy says the San Diego based USS Boxer will undergo massive upgrades when it returns from the Middle East.
The ship left San Diego in March to support Operation Epic Fury. The Defense Department says upgrades will include maintenance to propulsion and rudders, general structural repairs and modernization at a cost of at least 150-million dollars.
