DELCAMBRE, La. (KLFY) — Several sunken and abandoned vessels are being cleared from the Delcambre Canal as part of an effort to improve the area’s waterways and port facilities.
Delcambre Mayor Christopher “Tipper” Esponge says some shrimping and recreational vessels had sunk in the canal over the years and were never properly removed.
