Students at Shenandoah Elementary School in the Tower Grove East neighborhood returned to school adorned in bright bows, sneakers and smiles on Monday.
Principal Tonya Marrocco greeted each student by their name and enveloped them in a hug while their parents, some tearfully, waved them off into the historic building.
