Driver arrested after testing positive for cocaine, fentanyl and meth following north Phoenix crash

A driver tested positive for multiple drugs and was arrested after crashing into a wall in north Phoenix last week, authorities said.

On Thursday, troopers were called to a single-vehicle collision on Interstate 17 near Pinnacle Peak Road after a car crashed into the median multiple times and became disabled, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety’s Highway Patrol.

When troopers arrived at the scene, they observed the driver showing multiple signs and symptoms of impairment. The motorist was unable to complete field sobriety tests as he had difficulty maintaining his balance…
