PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — An injured cougar is still at large after being spotted in a neighborhood in Northeast Portland, authorities said.
At 5:11 p.m., the Gresham Police Department said they responded to a report via Oregon State Police about cougar sightings in the Wilkes Neighborhood.
Gresham police used drones, at the request of state troopers, to help locate the animal. The cougar was found in the 2400 block of Northeast 164th Avenue, which was captured on footage. OSP then took over command of the situation.
