PEORIA, AZ (AZFamily) — A major West Valley freeway has reopened after a serious crash caused delays for drivers early Tuesday morning.
The collision was reported shortly after 4 a.m. on the southbound lanes of the Loop 101 Agua Fria after Bell Road. Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers say multiple vehicles are involved in the crash, but it’s unclear how many people are hurt.
Traffic cameras showed numerous emergency vehicles blocking the area. Arizona’s Family drone shows three damaged vehicles. One sedan appeared to have rear-ended a pickup truck, and another sedan was heavily damaged on its driver’s side.
The freeway was shut down for roughly four hours but reopened shortly after 8 a.m…
