Cleveland Police drug trafficking investigation ends in arrest, seizure of cash and drugs

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – A Cleveland Police drug trafficking investigation ended in an arrest and the seizure of a large amount of cash and narcotics.

According to a release from the Cleveland Division of Police, on August 12, members of the Third District Vice, Violent Crime Reduction Team units and SWAT executed a county search warrant in the 1200 block of E. 81st Street in connection with an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.

Investigators recovered about $65,000 in U.S. currency, one-half kilogram of suspected crack cocaine, cell phones, miscellaneous bags of suspected marijuana, packaging materials and other equipment believed to be associated with the manufacturing of drugs, police said…
