When most people hear the name “Gainesville,” they immediately think of UF.
While The Swamp attracts tens of thousands of young adults each year, Gainesville’s off-campus attractions often go unnoticed. Overpowered by the college’s academic reputation, many students and Florida residents are unaware of the local businesses, community spaces and culture this city has to offer.
