‘She’s a tough one’: Georgetown 10-year-old recovering after being hit by alleged drunk driver

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (FOX 56) — A woman accused of hitting a 10-year-old girl as she was trying to board her school bus in Georgetown has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Denetria Hall is recovering from multiple injuries following the Aug. 18 crash near the intersection of Mount Vernon and Bunker Hill Drive. Her father, Dedric Hall, said his daughter was leaving their home to catch the school bus when a vehicle suddenly hit her.

“Out of nowhere, this lady comes barreling, and she plows into my daughter,” her father said. “She knocks in the air, maybe 12, 15 feet.”
