SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – A vacant, century-old building in the Cuyler-Brownsville neighborhood has a new purpose. The City of Savannah, Chatham County and several nonprofit partners cut the ribbon Tuesday on “H.O.M.E.,” which stands for Housing Opportunities Made for Everyone.
It includes four renovated, ADA-accessible apartments designed for a specific growing population: older adults who are homeless and medically fragile.
