BEAUFORT, S.C. (WTOC) – A judge ruled that a co-defendant in the murder case against Messiah Anderson does not have to testify, halting proceedings and prompting the state to say it will appeal to the South Carolina Supreme Court.
Anderson is one of five people accused of playing a part in the death of Bluffton football player DJ Fields.
