The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office is saddened to announce the passing of K9 ZORO on August 24, 2026.
ZORO began experiencing sudden medical issues and was immediately transported to an area veterinary clinic for evaluation. Due to the seriousness of his condition, he was transferred to the University of Wisconsin-Madison for additional care, where veterinarians determined that he was suffering from an advanced and terminal form of lymphoma.
