A South City bar described as a second home to many patrons had its insides gutted by a daytime fire.
Bystanders say that Stan’s Bar caught fire around noon on Tuesday. Normally, they would have been open at the time. Fortunately, because an employee had injured her shoulder, the small staff had decided to open late.
