If you’re hungry for a “meal” in Westminster, you can visit the three-generation-owned Wishbone Family Restaurant. The doors of the first location opened in 1963, and four other restaurants were added in the decades that followed. The current location opened in 1994 and has been serving the community ever since.
Stepping into the space gives you a feeling of familiar comfort, even if you’ve never been before. It just has that…sensation that a good local restaurant that has been around for over sixty years has. Part of that feeling comes from the aromatic mix of menu items that could be described as “comfort food” although that doesn’t completely do them justice. Grilled ham steak and chick-fried chicken share space with chicken fricassee over noodles.
