LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Clark County School District is going door to door this week in an effort to find students who were enrolled last school year but have not returned this year.
The effort is part of the district’s Bright Futures Initiative. More than 300 CCSD employees, elected officials and community members are expected to visit more than 500 homes over two days.
“We are going to visit over 500 homes to see where our children are,” CCSD Superintendent Jhone Ebert said. “For some reason, they haven’t shown up to school. They were registered in the Clark County School District last year.”…
