ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – The first preliminary investigative report on the plane crash that claimed three lives near a remote Alaska town last month was released Tuesday.
The report from the National Transportation Safety Board did not identify the cause of the July 27 crash near the town of McCarthy in the Wrangell-St. Elias mountains, but does lay out the timeline and facts of the investigation.
The crash left three dead: 23-year-old Anadyr Elliott, his 19-year-old fiancée “Jing” Dahlin Mungkieatsakul and McCarthy pilot Jason Lobo.
