AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) — As the Augusta South Family YMCA prepares to close its Tobacco Road location, the organization says families who depend on it for childcare will not be left without options.
The Augusta South YMCA is scheduled to close Sept. 14. The decision follows months of discussion about the future of the facility, including a public meeting in July where community members raised concerns about losing the South Augusta location.
