Albany, N.Y. — For nearly three hours on Tuesday, lawyers argued in a New York courtroom about whether the 20,000-page environmental report on Micron Technology’s chipmaking project near Syracuse was thorough enough.
A local citizens group and a national labor advocacy group filed suit in January, claiming that the report was rushed and failed to adequately address the potential pollution from Micron’s chipmaking complex, now under construction in Clay.
