A new curriculum is in the air for Pima County high schoolers — literally

Students can take the new Empowering Students Through School-Based Air Quality Data in Pima County, Arizona curriculum launched by the University of Arizona and Pima County in August 2026.

Students in grades 9-12 will learn how to analyze real-time and historical data from air quality monitors that are stationed across Tucson’s school districts.
