ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A Troy man pleaded guilty in connection to a cross-country marijuana and THC trafficking organization. Dwight Singletary II, aka “Nutt” and “Mike Jones,” pleaded guilty to conspiring to distribute marijuana and conspiring to commit money laundering.
The 44-year-old was the twenty-fifth and final defendant to plead guilty in the case.
Beginning in 2016, Singletary and other members of the organization shipped marijuana and THC from a shipping store in Fresno, Calif., to people across the United States, including in the Capital Region. Singletary helped finance the purchase of the shipping store.
