Some tense moments punctuated Coral Springs’ Tuesday night forum on November’s property tax amendment, as residents spoke their minds about the initiative during the educational town hall.
Coral Springs hosted the forum on the statewide Amendment 3, which would expand the tax exemption for homesteaded properties from $25,000 to $150,000 in 2027, and then to $250,000 in 2028. The vote needs 60% support to pass this November.
