NEW YORK (PIX11) — Heavy rain is on the way to the tri-state region on Thursday as a storm system approaches.
Flood watches have been issued for NYC and most of the region starting Thursday afternoon and continuing into the evening. Any downpours that develop could cause flooding in low-lying spots and in areas where there is poor drainage.
