Parents sue Nationwide Children’s Hospital in wrongful death of 17-month-old daughter

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — The parents of Clarajane Dille have filed a three-count civil lawsuit against Nationwide Children’s Hospital and one of their emergency medicine physicians for “causing the premature and wrongful death” of the 17-month-old.

John A. Markus with Leeseberg Tuttle law firm announced the suit in a release on Tuesday.

The complaint states that Clarajane Dille was treated by Nationwide Children’s Hospital at the Lewis Center Emergency Department on November 3, 2025. It continues to allege that Dr. Michael Chua violated hospital protocol which led to the child being “inappropriately discharged from the facility and dying at home approximately 6 hours later.”…
