A viral TikTok is helping speed up a long-awaited road project in a Michigan town.
In March, 18-year-old Ali Chami posted a video of himself filling potholes on Cherry Hill Road in Dearborn Heights, Mich., using buckets of asphalt he bought for $60 at Home Depot. The DIY effort quickly went viral, bringing renewed attention to the road’s hazardous condition.
