BENSON, N.C. (WNCN) — An elderly man died in a southern Johnston County crash near Benson after he possibly suffered a medical emergency Tuesday night, the North Carolina State Highway Patrol said.
The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. along Benson Hardee Road near Lassie Lane, less than a mile northwest of Benson, the highway patrol said in a news release.
