NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Nicholasville woman is facing serious drug-related charges after a traffic stop Monday afternoon.
According to an arrest citation, the Nicholasville Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding around 1:15 p.m. Aug. 24 near Ashgrove Road.

During a traffic stop, officers said their K9 unit alerted them to the odor of narcotics.
When asked to step out of the vehicle, officers observed the passenger, Petie Taylor, 52, with a large plastic package in her clothing, saying, “It’s not mine,” according to court documents.
