Happy Wednesday! Many areas peak in heat today or tomorrow. Expect mid 90s in Santa Barbara, high 80s in other coastal areas and triple digits inland. These are dangerous conditions, especially for those who work outside. Keep an eye on those at risk, especially younger children and the elderly. Fire risk is heightened these days as well and a Red Flag Warning is in place for the interior. Sundowner winds are back int the forecast, and may be up to advisory levels. Overnight lows will be well above average and some may only cool into the 70s. Utilize cooling shelters if possible.
We hold with the heat Thursday and Friday. Minimal day to day differences and little fog or marine layer coverage is expected.
