Summer temperatures aren’t the only scorchers here in Central Texas. Buyers in the market for a new home in the Austin area have plenty of hot options to choose from, as new data uncovers which neighborhoods and communities have recorded the largest jumps in home sales this summer.
Data analysis from Homes.com and CoStar shared with MySA detailed the 25 best performing neighborhoods in and around Austin based on sales closing this July versus July 2025. Each of the neighborhoods included in the Top 10 reported on home sales climbing more than 100% during the one-year reporting period, coming at a time when Austin’s real estate market is saturated with inventory and prospective buyers have ample choices.
At the top? Austin’s Apache Shores neighborhood, located roughly 14 miles northwest of Austin, cinched the top honor with a whopping 450% increase in home sales between July 2025 (two home sale closings) and July 2026 (11 home sale closings).
