EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – A city staff recommendation to impose a three-year ban on WestStar Bank Holding Company, Inc. and its subsidiaries, including WestStar Title, LLC, has dissolved.
The City of El Paso announced WestStar has “satisfactorily addressed concerns related to its title services contract,” in a news release Wednesday, Aug. 26. WestStar is now in “good standing” with the City, according to the announcement.
“The City takes compliance with its contracts seriously, and we appreciate WestStar’s willingness to respond directly and constructively to our concerns,” Claudia Garcia, the City’s purchasing and strategic sourcing director, said in a statement. “WestStar demonstrated its commitment to correcting the issues, and we are pleased that the matter has been resolved.”…
