Business has taken a hit at The Cabin at Judy Creek in Glen Carbon since road and bridge construction began at the intersection of Illinois 157 and Illinois 162.
Construction began at the intersection in February and is expected to last until Thanksgiving.
When complete, the 157/162 project will feature two new bridges, one carrying Illinois 157 and another carrying Illinois 162; a new traffic signal at the four-way intersection of Illinois 157 and Illinois 162; and new bicycle and pedestrian accommodations, including a dedicated bridge over Judy’s Branch Creek…
