Juvenile court officer charged in deadly hit-and-run remains employed by Franklin Co.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A Franklin County Juvenile Court officer has been charged with aggravated vehicular homicide and felony failure to stop after an accident in connection with a January hit-and-run that killed a 71-year-old man.

Denzel Kenley is accused of striking Anthony “Tony” Farmer shortly after 10 p.m. Jan. 5 at the intersection of Cleveland and Eddystone avenues in Columbus. Columbus Police said Kenley did not stop after the crash.

Multiple witnesses called 911, and police said Farmer died within minutes of being struck…
