A jury decided Wednesday that a gas company was negligent in an explosion that flattened a home in West Park in 2023.
Amerigas Propane was found 65% negligent for the Dec. 19, 2023 blast that damaged Clara Wilkerson and her son Joel West’s home, which was a couple of houses down from the one that exploded.
“Every day it’s like a nightmare, but you have to push through no matter how hard it is; you have to keep going,” West said. “I just feel like today was a great day for a regular person to get some justice.”…
