A 24-year-old man has been arrested on six counts of attempted murder after a shooting in Lakeland, police say.
Just after 11 p.m. on Aug. 14, officers with the Lakeland Police Department were called to a residence in the Westgate area of Lakeland for reports of a shooting. Someone had reportedly shot into a side bedroom window, striking two of the six people inside.
Police say three of the victims were young children, who were uninjured. The two adult victims were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries…
