NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — A flood watch was issued for all of New York City, Long Island and parts of New Jersey.
The National Weather Service said the flood watch will be in effect from noon until the evening Thursday for the tri-state area.

Excessive rainfall is possible in all five boroughs, Nassau and Suffolk Counties, Westchester, Orange, Putnam and Rockland Counties, as well as Bergen, Passaic, Union, Essex and Hudson Counties.
