A local woman is facing a number of charges after Allegheny County Police say she stole money from a local scholarship fund.
The fund had been set up after the death of McKeesport Police Officer Sean Sluganski. He was shot and killed in the line of duty in February 2023.
According to court documents, Tracy Whitney was on the scholarship fund board and controlled the organization’s finances. Money from the fund is supposed to go to McKeesport students seeking a career in public service…
