Grand Terrace residents who need assistance navigating a state agency will soon have an opportunity to seek help closer to home, as two state legislative offices bring constituent services directly into the community in September.
Grand Terrace residents facing questions involving state government will have multiple opportunities in September to speak directly with legislative staff without traveling to a district office. Assemblymember Leticia Castillo’s Mobile Office is scheduled to visit the Grand Terrace Senior Center on Tuesday, September 8, from 9:30 a.m. to noon. According to the City of Grand Terrace, residents may seek assistance involving state agencies, legislation, the Department of Motor Vehicles, Employment Development Department, Franchise Tax Board and other state government matters. The announcement was posted by the City on August 17.
Another constituent service opportunity is scheduled for September 3 at Grand Terrace City Hall through the office of State Senator Rosilicie Ochoa Bogh. The City’s community calendar states that mobile office hours allow residents to meet with district staff in person, provide comments concerning legislation and seek assistance with state agencies such as the DMV and EDD. The senator is not scheduled to attend personally; a field representative is designated to assist constituents.
