Ada County Highway District approves $261 million fiscal 2027 budget in 5-0 vote

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Ada County Highway District commissioners have approved a $261 million budget for Fiscal Year 2027, setting spending priorities for road and transportation projects across the county.

The Ada County Highway District Commission approved the budget in a 5-0 vote following a public hearing at its Aug. 26 meeting. The spending plan includes projects aimed at increasing safety and mobility throughout the county, along with funding for the maintenance and operation of Ada County’s roads, sidewalks, traffic signals, bike lanes and related infrastructure.
