Renata Lucia Gurgel Lima, 61, of Norcross, is accused of selling a stolen yellow gold engagement ring to Value Pawn, 493 Cobb Parkway S., Marietta, and receiving $900 for it on June 16 at 2:57 p.m., according to an arrest warrant from the Marietta Police Department.
The initial theft was in Cherokee County. Lima was hired to clean the victim’s house. When the victim realized the ring was missing, she filed a police report with the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office. The ring was found in a search on Leadsonline, according to the warrant.
Lima is charged with theft by deception – less than $1,500. She was arrested on Aug. 18 at 5:06 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
