The recent shutdown followed other reported crashes in the area. On June 11, 2026, a serious injury crash on Westside Parkway between Hembree Road and Maxwell Road closed southbound lanes and required emergency response from the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety. That collision occurred on one of Alpharetta’s primary north-south surface connectors linking GA-400 commercial development to the city’s residential and technology office corridor.
The firm has also noted incidents near the Mansell Road and Haynes Bridge Road interchanges. A prior serious injury collision on the southbound lanes of GA-400 near those exits required emergency transport to North Fulton Hospital, with the Alpharetta Traffic Enforcement Unit conducting an investigation.
