ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A man was arrested last week after Cobb County police said he pretended to be a law enforcement officer at a local park.
Larry Copeland, 65, faces charges of false imprisonment, robbery, second-degree criminal damage to property and impersonating a police officer. He was booked in Cobb County Adult Detention Center on Aug. 20 and has been denied bond.
According to his arrest warrant, Copeland allegedly approached a woman at Lost Mountain Park on Aug. 19 and shone a flashlight in her face, saying he was with law enforcement and would shoot if she didn’t get on the ground…
