KENT COUNTY, Mich. — A new roundabout has been opened at 10 Mile Road and Myers Lake Avenue in Courtland Township, completing the second of two roundabout projects constructed along 10 Mile Road this year.
The Kent County Road Commission (KCRC) said temporary lighting has been installed, with permanent street lighting to be completed by the project’s lighting contractor.
The project reconstructed the intersection into a commercial-grade roundabout and included:
- Splitter islands
- HMA pavement
- Concrete curb
- Gutter
- Storm sewer
- Ditching
- Sidewalk connections
- ADA ramps
- Pavement markings
- Site restoration
