A woman was driving to the beach with a friend in Florida when she pulled over and was smashed into by another vehicle, causing part of her leg to need to be amputated, according to authorities and her family.

Jasmin Selby, 25, was “seriously injured” in the hit-and-run crash, her father wrote in a GoFundMe seeking help.
