The San Joaquin County Superior Court is pleased to announce the appointment of Court Commissioner Michael Rasmussen to serve as an interim judge of the San Joaquin County Superior Court.
Rasmussen has served as a Court Commissioner since May 2020, following more than 22 years with the San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office, where he served as a Deputy District Attorney from 1998 to 2020. During his tenure with the District Attorney’s Office, Rasmussen supervised the Homicide and Quality of Life Units.
As a Court Commissioner, Rasmussen has presided over a broad range of matters, including family, juvenile, criminal, traffic, and unlawful detainer cases.
