Multiple students at a Midlands high school peppered-sprayed amid large fight

Several students at a Midlands high school were peppered-sprayed as a school resource officer attempted to break up a large brawl, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.

Eight students at A.C. Flora High School were sprayed by a Richland County deputy with oleoresin capsicum as the SRO tried to end a fight that broke out in the school’s courtyard around 12:30 p.m. Thursday, according to a news release.
